ZONEIT DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION AGREEMENT​

PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY, AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.

1. OVERVIEW​

This Domain Name Registration Agreement (this "Agreement") is entered into by and between Zoneit ("Zoneit," "we," "us," or "our") and you ("you," "your," "User," or "customer") and is made effective as of the date of electronic acceptance. This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of your use of Zoneit's Domain Name Registration services (the "Services").

Your electronic acceptance of this Agreement signifies that you have read, understand, acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Agreement, along with Zoneit's Universal Terms of Service Agreement and any other agreements or policies that are expressly incorporated herein.

2. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS​

2.1 Eligibility​

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must be able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You must maintain and update this information to keep it current

2.2 Domain Name Registration​

  • Registration of a domain name does not create any proprietary rights
  • You shall not transfer or purport to transfer proprietary rights in any domain name registration
  • You warrant that your registration does not infringe upon third-party rights
  • You must comply with all applicable ICANN requirements and standards

3. YOUR OBLIGATIONS​

3.1 Acceptable Use​

  • You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • You will not exceed allocated resources or abuse system capabilities
  • You are responsible for maintaining security of your account credentials
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3.2 Content Responsibility​

  • You retain ownership and responsibility for all content
  • You warrant having necessary rights for content you upload
  • You will comply with all applicable content laws and regulations

4. DOMAIN NAME RENEWAL​

4.1 Automatic Renewal​

  • Domain names will automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Renewal will be for the same period as the original registration
  • Payment will be taken using your stored payment method
  • You will be notified before automatic renewal occurs

4.2 Manual Renewal​

  • You may manually renew domains if automatic renewal is disabled
  • Domains must be renewed before expiration to prevent deactivation
  • Renewal fees are non-refundable

5. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION​

5.1 Data Collection and Use​

  • We comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations
  • We implement appropriate security measures to protect personal information
  • Your information may be shared with registry operators as required
  • Data may be transferred internationally as needed for domain registration

5.2 WHOIS Directory​

The following information may be made publicly available in the WHOIS directory:

  • The domain name
  • Name servers
  • Registration and expiration dates
  • Contact information as required by ICANN
  • Technical and administrative contact details

6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION​

6.1 Dispute Policy​

  • You agree to be bound by Zoneit's Dispute Resolution Policy
  • You agree to submit to proceedings under ICANN's Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy
  • Disputes will be governed by applicable registry policies

6.2 Jurisdiction​

You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of:

  • Courts of your domicile
  • Courts where Zoneit is located
  • Courts where the registry operator is located

7. TERMINATION​

7.1 Termination Rights​

  • Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice
  • Zoneit may suspend service immediately for violation of this Agreement
  • You remain responsible for fees incurred through termination

7.2 Effects of Termination​

  • Upon termination, you must cease using all Services
  • You have 30 days to export your data
  • Zoneit may delete your data after 30 days

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our liability is limited to amounts paid for Services
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid for Services in the previous 12 months

9. INDEMNIFICATION​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zoneit, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Violation of this Agreement
  • Infringement of third-party rights

10. MODIFICATIONS TO AGREEMENT​

Zoneit reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance of modifications.

11. GOVERNING LAW​

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS​

BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY MODIFICATIONS THEREOF.
